Dan Malarek

Dan Malarek assumed his current role as CEO of Foundation Medicine in November 2023. Prior to this, he held several key positions within Roche Diagnostics. Most recently, Dan worked as the Global Head of Marketing & Customer Insights, based in Rotkreuz, Switzerland, moving to that role after serving as the General Manager for Roche Diagnostics Norway for four years. 

Before his tenure in Norway, Dan spent four years as an International Business Leader and Lifecycle Leader in Molecular Diagnostics, based in Pleasanton, California. He also took on roles as the Head of Marketing and Business Development for Diabetes Care in Russia and worked on a humanitarian project in India as part of the Roche Secondment Program. Dan joined Roche in 2007 as part of Roche's Management Development Program.
