Dan Malarek

Dan Malarek is Chief Executive Officer at Foundation Medicine. Prior to joining Foundation Medicine in 2023, he held several key positions within Roche Diagnostics. Most recently, Malarek worked as the Global Head of Marketing & Customer Insights, based in Rotkreuz, Switzerland, moving to that role after serving as the General Manager for Roche Diagnostics Norway for four years. 

Before his tenure in Norway, Malarek spent four years as an International Business Leader and Lifecycle Leader in Molecular Diagnostics, based in Pleasanton, California. He also took on roles as the Head of Marketing and Business Development for Diabetes Care in Russia and worked on a humanitarian project in India as part of the Roche Secondment Program. Malarek joined Roche in 2007 as part of Roche's Management Development Program.
