Dominique Schutz is Chief Financial Officer and Head of Corporate Management at Foundation Medicine. He has nearly two decades of experience in the life sciences and biopharma industries, with an extensive financial background spanning commercial, research and development, business development and strategic finance.

In his current role, Schutz is responsible for the end-to-end finance function as well as revenue and access, procurement, facilities and portfolio and program management. He joined Foundation Medicine in 2022 and has held assignments of increasing responsibility including Vice President and Senior Vice President of Finance.

Prior to Foundation Medicine, Schutz held leadership roles at Merck KGaA in France, Germany and the United States, including head of Merck Millipore Global Commercial Finance and Head of Merck Biopharma Strategic Finance. In addition, he also served as Chief of Staff of Merck Healthcare CEO and led the Global Alliance Management function of Merck Biopharma.

Schutz received his M.B.A. from SKEMA Business School in Nice, France, with a major in International Finance.
